Luke Kennard

Luke Kennard is the author of four collections of poetry and two pamphlets. His latest is A Lost Expression (Salt, 2012). His last chapbook, The Necropolis Boat was selected as the summer pamphlet choice by the Poetry Book Society for 2012. His second book, The Harbour Beyond the Movie, was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection in 2007. His criticism has appeared in Poetry London and The Times Literary Supplement. He reviews fiction for The National and lectures in Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham.

Sandeep Parmar tn

Sandeep Parmar was born in Nottingham in 1979 and raised in Southern California. She is the Reviews Editor of The Wolf magazine and edited The Collected Poems of Hope Mirrlees for Carcanet Press (2011).

Penelope Shuttle wrote of her debut collection The Marble Orchard (Shearsman, 2012), “Sandeep Parmar has a fearless and innovative voice, ambitious, searching, richly-lyrical.”

Luciano GerberLuciano Gerber, guitarist and singer, was born in Pelotas, Brazil. Luciano arranges and plays Brazilian Folk fusion – probably best described as a blend of folk, bossa nova, milongas and samba, which also incorporates elements from Arabic music and Flamenco. In the past 8 years, he has worked with great musicians in Manchester, and appearances include Manchester Jazz Festival, Matt and Phred’s, the Contact Theatre, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Exchange.
